Getting started

When you are younger you have it in your mind what you want to do for a living, but where your heart wants to be is somewhere else! I went to school, and worked plenty of part time & full time jobs, nothing seemed to make me happy. I felt like I was just working for a paycheck! Finding your niche or passion isn't hard if you listen to your heart and soul! I know this is what I love to do.
Makeup Talks & Beauty Walks was created by me to make women and men feel beautiful inside and out! When you have self confidence, and feel great about yourself it can go a long way.

This all came to me last Spring when I enrolled at Marinello Schools of Beauty. I had these best instructor teacher hands down! MS.LINDA... I can honestly say I have learned a great deal from this women, not just with her one on one makeup tutorials but life lessons. We would always have good conversations about life, and she always gave good advice! I would always question her lectures (lol), and ask questions! Saturdays were makeup days, and I think I must have practiced every Saturday, well almost EVERY. :)

She used to work for MAC Cosmetics, so I thought to myself what better way to learn then from a Pro! I lover her for that, and respect her!  She taught me basics, and much more, and I took it and ran with it. Anyways with that said here are some pics that I had in my photo album of makeup at school! :)

Purple Rain

After having an AWSOME NIGHT @ the Prince concert, this look was inspired by the song "Purple Rain" LOL!
Normally I wouldnt be all one color but this was just for fun. So I used Sugar Pill cosmetics for the eyes-
On the lid is Tako from the Cold Heart palette with Hysteric on the top, in the crease is Poison Plum with a tad bit of Afterparty in the corner, then I used NYX jumbo milk liner for the lower lid with Darling on top of that. Black eye liner- Urban Decay..

Memorial Day shopping

A 3 day week end is upon us, and we all want to step out and be cute! Not to mention all of your favorite stores will be having sales...
Old Navy has flip flops for just $1! Cant beat that with a stick.. Lol As well as 30% off to start your summer shopping off right.

I was in LA this past week end, I didn't not get to check and malls out, and see what the fashion trends were down there because my son was sick, but I will most def be going back next month and have some new stuff to show you guys, and tell you about some places. If you are into MAKE-UP  "IMATS" is in Pasadena on the 25th/26th 2011! I heard NY was a really big turn out! :)
